Europe Energy Center: The Fastest Growing Energy Supplier in the Heart of Europe
There are four countries in the heart of Europe with four different market conditions. There are four paths to success. And there is only one alternative energy distributor to achieve success on such a scale in this region with 100 million prospects.
Europe Energy Center had a highly successful year in 2011. Present in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, it has not only proven its ability to compete with harsh rivals and fought to stake out a stable position among suppliers of electrical energy and natural gas; in just two years it has become the strongest player among alternative energy suppliers in the region.
So far, Energy Center has signed contracts with 250 thousand clients – households and SMEs – on energy supplies of 2TWh of electrical energy and 1TWh of natural gas a year.
Experienced managers
The success of Europe Energy Centers lies in its experienced managers, who collected their experience over the past 20 years on markets in both Western and Eastern Europe, as well as in the USA. They participated in the de-monopolization process of bank, telecommunication and insurance markets. Today they support the liberalization of mid-European energy markets that are in the process of deregulation.
These managers know from their experience that it is vital to foster customer confidence. “Only a client that has the confidence to break loose from a monopoly and choose an alternative provider can help liberalize the market. And a liberalized market is good not only for him, but also for his neighbors and society as a whole,” says Robert Zagozdzon, the leader of the Europe Energy Center.
Complexity is the key
Clear for the client, complex in the services. That is the cumulative advantage that speaks to the mass market. Energy Center supplies households through the Energy Supplier No1 a.s. structure, companies through Europe Energy Entity Limited, and, when it comes to trading, it operates through Gas and Energy Trading, a.s.
Europe Energy Center specializes in complex customer services, aiming to reach a concentration – or unification, if you wish – of the services we all use on daily basis; from utilities, through assistance, to financial and insurance services. Such a combination allows EEC to offer better prices, to help save time and also contributes to higher client satisfaction.
Additional good news is that EEC has no need to undercut. Its assistance services, for example, are of the best quality in the region. Clients are aware of it and are willing to ask for the whole package because its advantages are obvious. They would pay several times more buying each service separately. And when it comes to price, nothing is more appealing to a customer than a pleasant surprise.
The change is in the client’s mind
All this would not be possible without personal contact. It is not easy to change things that were taken for granted for generations. People need time and help. Maybe this is why the most recent research reveals that almost half of the population in the Czech Republic prefers personal offers when it comes to energy sales. And the number is even higher in Slovakia, especially for those who live in smaller towns and villages. As it is not always natural for them to travel, they appreciate being contacted at their places.
“We strive to mirror the attitudes of the residents,” Robert Zagozdzon explains. “ A good business deal is not a fight or regulation; it is a win-win agreement. We might be going out on a limb, but this is the only way we believe markets work,” says the head of the record-setting company.
Today, EEC contacts prospects through a wide and stable network of partners - business units. EEC does not employ its own sales representatives, but co-ordinates its activities through autonomous companies. This has proved to be an advantage, as it allows multi-level control and necessary distance when it comes to problem solving.
Though it is not hard to understand the reasons that mislead some representatives to cross the thin border between what is correct and what is not, no one at EEC tolerates it. And never will. The reason? Well, it is simple. When clients are not treated with care, they are not loyal. It naturally comes with liberalization, with a chance to switch. Unhappy customers leave, the satisfied ones stay and pay. A win-win agreement, remember?
